Always a very free-spirited and opinionated female, Joleen Naomi-Chitty played multiple instruments in High School, and excelled in debate and drama clubs. Throughout the twists and turns that became the “story” of her life, she lost her fearlessness, forgot who she was, and became “comfortably numb”. She had no recollection of the strength that was within her, and had no clue what “self compassion” was, even though her heart for others was compassionately huge. In March 2014, Joleen watched her father go from Stage IV bone cancer diagnosis, to losing him in just 21 days. Then, on August 22, 2017, she lost a life-long best friend after a 6 year battle against Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. And because of that experience, she knew she needed a huge change.

Life had dealt young Joleen some blows that shook her up, and made her realize she needed to start dreaming and living again. So, she packed a suitcase, and bought a one way ticket to Hawai’i, told her family she'd be back, and off she went! For 3 months, she meditated, did yoga, detoxed her diet, explored the island, nannied 4 children, was hired as a tour guide by families, and worked the farmers market in Hawi, Hawai’i every Saturday morning under the banyan trees. She worked and lived in an eco-friendly 120 square foot tiny house in the middle of the tropical island of Hawai’i Nei, all within, miraculously, three short months. She was finally healed because of her hard work, respect, and integrity, She made Ohana that will last a lifetime. Little did she know, but Joleen had no idea that her healing would become the catalyst for what has become her life's work and vision. Her path and mission in life would lead her to realize that HEALED PEOPLE HEAL PEOPLE.

A HUGE LAUGHER, where most people either recognized her by her laugh or her distinct voice,  Joleen also loves making others laugh. She gets called “permagrin” a lot, because she is always smiling! She LOVEs to live life to the fullest, and is an adventure seeker to the utmost, with a Carpe Diem attitude. Every moment for her is a fresh one, with limitless possibilities, regardless of the moments that have come before. A lover of yoga, and her crystals, too, but not as much as she loves her Creator. The things she is passionate about, she is EXTREMELY passionate about! As a Leo–a fearless leader–Joleen is ready to kick the emotional damage of breast cancer in the butt! As “fiery” as her heart and soul can be, water is her therapy as she spends her life chasing waterfalls, rainbows, and sunsets!

Joleen is immensely in love with Hawai’i, it’s people, it’s culture, it’s beauty, and the spirituality that is a constant presence everywhere you breathe. The true ALOHA. To get to pass this onto others, in the same community where she lives and works is such a humbling experience, but it is also giving her, and her friends and family, the opportunity to provide a truly authentic Hawaiian living experience with exposure to music, art, hula, farm fresh organic produce, and breathtaking beauty, When she began to question if she was truly “the one” to lead this charge, she was reminded that she was born with a huge heart, and an even bigger mouth!

And so she keeps going. And as she pushes forward, Warrior Camp has begun!!

Joleen–with a great team of amazing staff behind her–doing all of the organizing, including the fundraising for this Warrior Camp retreat, is poised and ready for the work ahead of her. Armed with her Reiki and crystal master certification, and her expertise in diet and nutrition, physiology and anatomy, and psychology to fight the hurts with kindness, love, laughter, knowledge, and joy that will lead her warrior women into their healing with touch, sound, light, peace, and content.

Joleen Naomi-Chitty is a 44 year old, married mother of 3 young men, ages 27, 23, and 19.
